The Track3D ultra marathon Course Library

Published

Race planning should not always require finding and importing the course from scratch. The Track3D Course Library lets runners browse published courses and use them as the starting point for their own private Race Plan.

Start from an existing course

A published Course Library course can be opened in Race Planner and copied into a private Race Plan. The runner can then add their own target finish, checkpoints, timing decisions, stops and planning information.

The public course is the starting point. The runner’s Race Plan remains their own planning workspace.

Community sharing without publishing the private plan

Track3D can create a separate sanitised course snapshot when a runner chooses to share a course with the community. Private Race Plan information and account identity are not part of that public course snapshot.

This separates reusable course information from the personal decisions contained in a Race Plan.

Track3D course content

The Course Library also supports Track3D published and validated course content. That allows known race courses to be prepared as reusable starting points for runners planning the same event.
