Major Race Planner, pacing, course and tracking updates from the beginning of Track3D Race Planner to today.
The earliest milestones are dated by feature completion while the Race Planner was being built. Later updates use customer release dates.
Crew
Track3D Crew launches on the App Store
Track3D Crew is now publicly available for iPhone, bringing live ultra marathon race tracking, checkpoint ETA, alerts, notes, navigation, weather, Live Activities and CarPlay into a dedicated race day app for crews and followers.
Course-Aware Pacing can now shape how effort is distributed through the race, giving runners more control over how the calculated plan approaches the course while keeping the requested finish time as the planning target.
The Track3D Data Field is now publicly available through the Garmin Connect IQ Store, allowing compatible Garmin watches to provide race tracking observations to Track3D Crew through the paired phone.
Public Crew races can use an easy to share live.track3d.com.au address that the account owner can set and change.
Pacing
Course-Aware Pacing gets a major upgrade
Course-Aware Pacing receives a major production update to improve how the target finish time is distributed across the course while continuing to respect planned stops and race cutoffs.
Race Plans can now support live race tracking so crew and followers can see runner progress on the course and estimated arrival information as new locations are received.
Race Planner adds a customer facing guide with structured help and real application screenshots covering course selection, checkpoints, timing, saving, printing and community sharing.
