A Race Plan becomes much more useful to crew when it can be compared with what is happening during the race. Track3D Crew connects live runner locations with the planned course and checkpoint schedule.
Follow progress on the course
As tracking locations are received, Track3D can match the runner to the race course and show their progress through the event. The live view is built around the course and Race Plan rather than displaying an isolated location marker.
This gives crew context for where the runner is and what comes next.
Estimate the next checkpoint arrival
The Race Plan already contains the expected structure of the race. Live progress can use that information to update estimated arrival information for upcoming checkpoints as new tracking observations arrive.
For crew, the practical question is often not simply “where are they?” but “when should we expect them here?”

Track3D Crew is intended to reduce the amount of manual calculation and guesswork required while supporting a runner through a long event. Tracking quality still depends on the connected device, communications path and data being available during the race.
